Description
Out Of The Blue is the seventh studio album by Electric Light Orchestra and is widely regarded as Jeff Lynne's masterpiece. Written almost entirely during a burst of inspiration in the Swiss Alps and recorded at Musicland Studios in Munich, the ambitious double album blends symphonic rock, progressive pop and orchestral arrangements into one of the defining records of the 1970s. It became one of ELO's biggest-selling albums, producing a string of international hit singles and selling millions of copies worldwide.
Featuring the classics Turn To Stone, Sweet Talkin' Woman, Mr. Blue Sky, Wild West Hero and It's Over, Out Of The Blue remains an essential album for any classic rock collection.
