Out Of The Blue is Electric Light Orchestra's landmark seventh studio album and one of the defining rock albums of the 1970s. Written and produced entirely by Jeff Lynne, the album combines orchestral arrangements, progressive rock and melodic pop across an ambitious double LP. Originally released in 1977, it became ELO's most commercially successful studio album, producing the classic singles Turn To Stone, Sweet Talkin' Woman, Mr. Blue Sky and Wild West Hero. To celebrate its 40th anniversary, this stunning picture disc edition was released in 2017, showcasing the iconic spaceship artwork across all four vinyl sides.
