The album marked Bowie’s return from the experimental period of his late-1970s work and features some of his most celebrated recordings, including “Ashes To Ashes”, “Fashion”, “Scary Monsters (And Super Creeps)” and “Teenage Wildlife”.
Produced by David Bowie and Tony Visconti, the album was recorded at The Power Station in New York and Good Earth Studios in London. It reached Number 1 in the UK Albums Chart.
