Teaser And The Firecat is Cat Stevens' fifth studio album and one of the defining singer-songwriter releases of the early 1970s. Following the enormous success of Tea For The Tillerman, the album continued Stevens' remarkable creative run, combining introspective songwriting with memorable melodies and acoustic folk-rock arrangements. It became another international success, reaching No. 2 on the UK Albums Chart and producing several of his best-loved songs.

Original 1971 UK first pressing on Island Records, catalogue number ILPS 9154. First issues were released on the iconic pink rim Island label and housed in the original gatefold sleeve with the illustrated lyrics printed inside.
