Description

Darkness On The Edge Of Town is Bruce Springsteen's fourth studio album and one of the defining records of his career. Released in 1978 following a lengthy legal battle that kept him out of the recording studio for almost three years, the album presented a tougher, more mature sound than its predecessor, Born To Run. Featuring classics such as "Badlands", "Prove It All Night", "The Promised Land" and the title track, the album is widely regarded as one of Springsteen's greatest artistic achievements.

Original 1978 UK first pressing on CBS Records, catalogue number CBS 86061. First press copies feature the original lyric inner sleeve and heavyweight late-1970s CBS pressing quality.
