Description
Let It Be is the twelfth and final studio album released by The Beatles, issued in May 1970 shortly after the band's breakup. Produced by Phil Spector, the album features some of the group's most enduring recordings and documents the famous January 1969 sessions that culminated in the iconic rooftop concert.
Featuring timeless classics including Let It Be, Across The Universe, Get Back, The Long And Winding Road and Two Of Us, the album remains an essential part of any Beatles collection.
Pressing Notes
This is an original 1970 UK box set pressing on Apple Records, catalogue number PCS 7096, featuring the desirable 2U/2U matrix combination. Early UK copies were housed in the distinctive slipcase complete with the 160-page "Get Back" book. This example retains the original book but includes only one section of the internal card tray, a common issue as the tray was easily damaged or lost over time. Despite the incomplete tray, the set remains highly collectible thanks to the early matrices and the inclusion of the original book.
