Description

True is Spandau Ballet's third studio album and the record that propelled the band to international stardom. Released in 1983, the album blended sophisticated pop, soul and new wave influences, producing some of the group's most enduring hits. Featuring the timeless title track "True", alongside "Gold", "Communication" and "Pleasure", the album became one of the defining British pop releases of the 1980s.

Original UK Chrysalis Records pressing issued under catalogue number CDL 1403. Produced by Tony Swain and Steve Jolley, True marked a significant evolution in Spandau Ballet's sound and became their most successful album. Early UK pressings remain highly collectible and are admired for their excellent analogue sound quality and classic 1980s presentation.
