When The World Knows Your Name is the second studio album by Scottish band Deacon Blue, originally released in 1989. It became the band's breakthrough commercial success, reaching No. 1 on the UK Albums Chart and remaining in the chart for 33 weeks.
The album features some of Deacon Blue's most loved songs, including Real Gone Kid, Wages Day, Fergus Sings The Blues, Love And Regret and Queen Of The New Year. It remains one of the standout Scottish pop-rock albums of the late 1980s.

This is the original 1989 UK pressing on CBS Records, catalogue number 463321 1. The original vinyl edition was issued in a spot-lacquered gatefold picture sleeve, complete with the original lyric inner sleeve.
