Crocodiles is the debut studio album by Liverpool post-punk legends Echo & The Bunnymen, originally released in 1980. Produced by Bill Drummond, David Balfe and Ian Broudie, the album established the band's distinctive atmospheric sound and became an important release in the early British post-punk scene.
The album reached No. 17 on the UK Albums Chart and features the classic tracks Going Up, Rescue, Villiers Terrace, Pictures On My Wall and the title track Crocodiles.
Pressing Notes
This is the original 1980 UK pressing on Korova Records, catalogue number KODE 1. The first UK pressing was released in July 1980 and is documented with the original white Korova labels, picture sleeve and illustrated credits inner sleeve.
The original album contains ten tracks and reached the UK Albums Chart shortly after release.
