Waltz For Debby is one of the most celebrated live jazz recordings ever made. Recorded at the legendary Village Vanguard in New York on 25 June 1961, the album captures pianist Bill Evans, bassist Scott LaFaro and drummer Paul Motian at the peak of their musical partnership. Featuring sublime performances of "My Foolish Heart", "Detour Ahead" and the title composition "Waltz For Debby", the album remains a cornerstone of modern jazz and is widely regarded as one of the greatest jazz albums ever recorded.
